All summer, the artists of the Eastham Artists Guild will set up their easels outside and paint en plein air. (Here’s our schedule.)
The art created during these special sessions will go on sale at various locations.
Sometimes, they will be sold “off the easel” as soon as they are finished — a great opportunity for you to own a painting that you saw created!
Here are the dates and locations of our Special Sales:
Thursday, June 11: Paintings from the plein air session May 26 at the Eastham Superette, 2475 Route 6, will be for sale all summer inside the store starting June 11.
Thursday, June 25: Artwork painted June 9 at Arnold’s Lobster & Clam Bar, 3580 Route 6, will be for sale all summer inside the restaurant starting June 25.
Saturday, July 4: Paintings created June 20 at the Schoolhouse Museum, across from the National Seashore Visitor Center, will be sold on the Porch of the Schoolhouse during its Open House July 4.
Sunday, July 5: Paintings will be sold “off the easel” after the 4:30 p.m. plein air session at Nauset Light.
Sunday, July 19: The plein air paintings from a session June 30 at the Swift-Daley House on Route 6 next to the Eastham Post Office, will go on sale from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 19 during Discovery Day at the Swift-Daley House. (Rain date Sunday, July 26.)
Saturday, July 25: Paintings created during plein air sessions on May 19, June 2, June 17, and June 23 will be for sale at the Schoolhouse Museum across from the National Seashore Visitor Center during Founders Day.)
Monday, July 27: Paintings will be sold “off the easel” after the 6 p.m. plein air session at the Eastham Windmill, 2515 Route 6.
Tuesday, Aug. 4: Paintings will be sold “off the easel” after the 8:30 a.m. plein air session at Rock Harbor in Orleans.
Wednesday, Aug. 16: Paintings will be sold “off the easel” after the 4 p.m. plein air session at Nauset Light.
Sunday, Aug. 23: The paintings from a plein air session July 14 at Rock Harbor in Orleans will be sold “off the easel” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 23.
