Kinsgbury Beach

Low tide on Cape Cod Bay is the perfect time to dig for clams. Littlenecks, Cherrystones and Quahogs are all the same clam but in different sizes. Quahogs are the largest and live 4” to 6” below the surface of the sand. Anyone can get a license and a clam rake and go out on the sand flats to dig for clams to make their own chowder.
