Pat Nickerson
Pat Nickerson is inspired by the visual beauty of Cape Cod. Her landscapes and seascapes may depict a bright cobalt blue sky over a green marsh, or the soft, muted colors of a foggy morning at Barnstable Harbor.
Having lived here since 1986, she has spent many days exploring the back roads and off-the-beaten-track locations as sources of inspiration. She paints both oils and watercolors, but is currently focused on oil painting.
Pat is a member of Creative Art Center Chatham, the Northside Artists of Cape Cod, and is a juried member of the Cape Cod Art Association. Her work has been exhibited at the Cape Cod Art Association, the Falmouth Arts Center, the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, Creative Arts Center Chatham and the Cahoon Museum of Art’s “Great Brush Off”.
Pat shows her work at Local Color Gallery in Chatham. Her mini-oils are also sold in the gift shop at the Dan’l Webster Inn in Sandwich. In the summer, her work can be seen at outdoor shows by the Guild of Chatham Painters, the Eastham Painters Guild, and the Monday Painters of Dennis.
