Robert O. Bylaska, a native of Florida, moved to Massachusetts in his teens. He graduated from the New England School of Art and worked in the commercial art field for advertising agencies, art studios, and printers.
While working in the advertising field, Bob continued his art training by attending classes at MIT, Mass. College of Art, and Harvard University. He then became a technical artist. Upon retirement, Bob moved to Cape Cod and resumed his love of painting.
Bob has studied with many highly regarded New England artists, including Freddy Peterson, J.W.S. Cox, James Saunders, Orin Head, and Edward Harrigan.
Bob’s residence and studio are in Eastham. He exhibits in many outdoor shows on the Lower Cape, and has also exhibited and won awards in juried shows from Massachusetts to Florida. His paintings are in collections throughout the United States.
