About the Eastham Painters Guild

2025 group photoIn 1980, a small group of Eastham artists first began exhibiting on the grounds of the Eastham Library.  By the mid-1980s, as membership grew, the guild moved to our present day site at the 1869 Schoolhouse Museum, located across from the National Seashore Salt Pond Visitors Center on Route 6 in Eastham.

2025 marked the 45th anniversary of the Eastham Painters Guild! We have grown to 19 artist members, and the Guild still exhibits only original artwork. In addition to the fine art shows, we have year round exhibits in and around Eastham. The Guild has participated in a partnership with the Cape Cod National Seashore to bring art into the Seashore seasonally, supports local events and fundraisers, and funds annual scholarships for local high school seniors pursuing continuing education in the arts. We continually look for ways to interact with our local communities and look forward to another 45 years of art, engagement and fun!
