About the Eastham Painters Guild

In 1980, a small group of Eastham artists first began exhibiting on the grounds of the Eastham Library.  By the mid-1980s, as membership grew, the guild moved to our present day site at the 1869 Schoolhouse Museum, located across from the National Seashore Salt Pond Visitors Center on Route 6 in Eastham.

2020 marks the 40th anniversary of the Eastham Painters Guild! The Guild still exhibits only original artwork by our members. In addition to the fine art shows, we have year round exhibits in and around Eastham. The Guild participates in a partnership with the Cape Cod National Seashore to bring art into the Seashore seasonally, supports local events and fundraisers, participates in the Massachusetts state-wide celebration of the arts ArtWeek, and funds annual scholarships for local high school seniors pursuing continuing education in the arts. We continually look for ways to interact with our local communities and look forward to another 40 years of art, engagement and fun!
