Rich Orbon

Before retiring, Rich Orbon was an orthopedic surgeon in Phoenix, AZ. He was born in New York City and spent much of his youth on the East Coast and Europe.  After living in Massachusetts for most of his career, he moved to the Southwest, living in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. At present Rich spends part of the year in Arizona and part in Massachusetts.  

Painting on location or “plein air” is a favorite pastime. Rich also enjoys painting portraits and the figure. His mediums are pastel and oil.

In addition to the Eastham Painters Guild, Rich is represented in the Fountain Hills Gallery in Fountain Hills, AZ and the of the Guild of Harwich Artists Gallery in Harwichport, MA. He is a member and past president of the Arizona Pastel Artists Association and also the Guild of Harwich Artists in Harwich, MA.
