Inspired by Cape Cod’s beautiful landscapes and beaches, Ron has been painting local scenes both real and imagined using soft pastels and encaustics.
“I love to make things, use my hands. Color – it’s magic. Paint is a thing, three dimensional. I love the tools, the physicality and the archive of the mind – using all of myself to make something new. I want to communicate via painting the inner awe one feels when looking at something beautiful and meaningful.”
Doris Greenleaf especially enjoys painting beach scenes, bicycles, buildings, lighthouses and other interesting sites.
Barbara works in oils, acrylics, and watercolor to capture memorable impressions of life along the shore and the quiet exuberance of Cape Cod gardens & flowers.
As a gardener, June appreciates the complexity and beauty of plants, which she attempts to capture in her colored pencil and watercolor paintings.
