2026 Eastham Painters Guild Scholarship Winners
Congratulations to Wilson Kerr-Havey, Izaak van der Wende and Mickaylah Landel! They are graduates of Nauset Regional High School and recipients of our 2026 Eastham Painters Guild scholarships.
Wilson plans to study Art and Film at Pratt Institute and then begin work in the film industry. He will use the scholarship to help fund my tuition and use it for short films and art supplies. Wilson loves creating short films, often finding inspiration by simply looking around and finding a good spot that has a certain atmosphere.
Izaak van der Wende is this year’s recipient of the June Havens Memorial Scholarship. Izaak will be attending Emerson College, where he plans to study Film and Television with a focus on directing and screenwriting. He is the founder of the Bits and Bobs Theater Company, through which he has produced and directed theatrical work across Cape Cod. Moving forward, he plans to build a career as a filmmaker, drawing on his theatrical background to strengthen his work behind the camera.
